Frequently Asked Questions

What is your typical process for working with a new client?

I always respond as soon as possible when a new client contacts me. Before our first appointment I briefly go over what the client wants out of the massage. I base my work on what they tell me, not just based on what I personally think they need. People know there own bodies' better than anyone. Following the first session we can we can communicating with each other everytime so the client is getting exactly what they want and/or need out of the bodywork.

How did you get started in this line of work?

I have always wanted my life's work to be something that helped people, and something that would never grow old to me. Massage turned out to be the perfect profession for me. I could not imagine my life now without working with this healing energy.

What type of clients have you worked with?

I have worked with all kinds of clients.. I will never turn anyone away. Some examples would be: teachers, office workers, cancer patients, people with muscle disorders, athletes, students, truck drivers, depressed, and people who have had no prior experience with massage.

What advice would you give someone about finding the right therapist for them?

Make sure it is someone you connect with. While you don't have tobe friends with your therapist, or even talk much or at all if you dont wan't --it is important to feel safe, respected, and cared for. If that person is me that would be great-- if not I am always happy to point a client in the direction of someone who might better suit their needs.
